Heard Glen Beck this morning saying he agreed with a lot RP says - but his position on Iran was a deal breaker.
I was just alarmed at how old he looked on the part I watched. As much as I'm a RP fan, the age is going to be a big issue at this point.

Disagree. I'm voting for the leader of a country, not just a set of ideals. I need to have confidence that my leader isn't going to forget to put on his pants before he goes to meet with the Prime Minister. Paul gives off a "doddering old grandpa" vibe that isn't going to inspire confidence that he's a strong leader. That will absolutely kill his chances outside of the Internet where everyone loves him and shows up to skew the Polls.
Look, I'd like someone with something very close to his set of ideals to win, but if any of you were old enough to vote in the last election, all you have to do is look back at that and see where this is all headed. It's not like this is something new and he's never run before.

I can't help but agree with your outlook. However, EVERY other choice I see just seems to be a shill for the lobbyists and it's time to speak out against that. Your obligation as a citizen should be to vote for your beliefs no matter what you think the end result is.
The only REAL way you can speak out in regards to politics is your vote, and your wallet. The bad news is the corporations have bigger wallets and can donate more than you can by law.

Ron Paul is the only one who is in this presidential race because he gives a shit about this country, there is so much fluff in politics its disgusting, no one else, Rep or Dem, adds any real value to anything they do or say.
Because as of today, unless something changes, he has zero chance of winning and I do not feel like throwing away a vote.

Ron Paul would utterly trash Obama in a debate, it would all end up being Economics, and as we know, that's not Barack's forté.

If the RP crazies mobilize and get Paul as the candidate he will get trounced in the election. Therefore a vote for Paul in the primary is a vote for Obama. (what do you think? recovery?)

So far Romney has no fire and I doubt he can get the job done he strikes me as a half ass quitter. RP comes off like a smart ass know it all and has no mass appeal, Gingrich is not likeable and has baggage, and I do not know the rest of the field.
