I actually agree with this. I cant stand when ads scream at you. The networks even allow it. Lots of ads are 2 or 3 db higher. That is double the volume.
Its not congress' job to interfere. I get annoyed by ads on websites, and really annoyed by musical ads on websites when I have 100 tabs open and can't find the right one, but I sure as hell don't think congress should interfere.
cmon guys. "annoying" is an opinion and if you let the government regulate opinions it will never stop. One could say all your ads are annoying too.
Sorry but this is not an opinion. There's no one out there that enjoys being blasted by TV commercials; it's an entirely self-serving issue from the advertisement companies.
Ideally the TV companies would restrict advertisers from boosting volume, but they aren't.
Wickedfire should be regulated also.
Too many butthurt fags complaining here.

No, it is an opinion.
You don't like loud ads. They wouldn't be loud if it didn't boost response.
If you let everyone on Facebook vote whether or not to keep the ads, they'd get removed. MOST people don't like ads. Doesn't matter, some people respond to them.
It's B.S. regulation and the government sticking it's nose in places it doesn't have any business in.
So any comparison to all the ads on websites or anywhere else the government doesn't regulate content already is useless.
