Who Else is Getting REAL Tired of the US Gov't?

And the thing is, medical bills cause more personal bankrupcies than anything else. And that is totally fucked up. Its totally fucked up that any medical procedure costs 1.5 million dollars, no matter what they are or how long they take. Let me see here, $1.5 million / 72 days = $21k PER DAY... fuck that shit. That's almost $1,000.00 per hour, 24 hours per day, for two and a half months. Nothing should fucking cost that much. Especially not something determining whether or not someone lives.

Pointless spending? It's a direct economical stimulus in the hands of those who will need it most. It provides income to dealerships, who in turn support manufacturing and service employees, who in turn will spend that money back in the economy.

Ah the irony - I heard the cash for clunkers program is actually causing more pollution and using more energy to destroy all the vehicles than they would have produced if they stayed on the road. And what happens to the people who just bought a new car if they lose their jobs?

You ALWAYS have a choice. You can do whatever you want, be whatever you want. They simply choose not to be something great, not to be a better person, or even a decent person. Its THEIR fault and nobody else's. They DO suck at life. Its their fault they did not acquire any extra skills/knowledge than the bare minimum to get by, its not anyone else's.
Nor should it be anyone else's problem. If this system didn't exist maybe they would make the effort. Instead of thinkimg "oh well, i'll just get on unemployement/welfare". "I can trade in my car that I got for 500 bucks and get 500k", "on top of that the gov is giving me $500 for free". All paid for by REAL americans, not mooching losers.

That would be more accurate if we were still on the gold standard. They can print up as much as they want and toss whatever they want onto the national debt. Of course that can raise inflation and cause other problems. Those looking at this as a Repub vs. Dems thing should remember it was Dick Cheney who said "Reagen showed us the national debt doesn't matter."

I lean more to being a fiscal conservative, but try to look at things from different angles. The lower an income someone has the more likely they are to spend a higher percentage of their money. $50,000 sitting in Donald Trump's bank account does you little good, while a Ford employee being able to keep his job and make $50,000 is going to lead to his wife buying acai berries and shit.

How many presidents has Hugh Hefner lived through? For each one there were people who said that president was the worst ever and was going to cause the end of the world, etc. Does Mr. Hefner regret not spending more time being angry at politicians?
